With the change of season we see us digging out our coats and scarfs and packing away the bikini’s and mini’s. With a change of wardrobe, it’s only natural that your nails change as well. Winter usually is about darker, sexier trends. There are 5 hot nail trends to follow this winter:
Chromes, golds and silvers are really hot right now. You can find a metallic version in almost every colour, so you can still stick with your favourites. Metallic’s are both edgy and fun, complimenting any winter wardrobe well. I love this silver colour!
For those of you who love bling [yes it’s a guilty pleasure of mine] this trend is for you! Whether you go for a solid glitter colour or add a coat of glitter to your base colour, it’s sure to add a dash of fun to your outfit.
FRENCH MANI’S WITH A DIFFERENCE
Forget the classic french manicure. This season add some fun with colour. Any colours. Any patterns. Go wild!
I really like this dark purple by OPI, it’s not as harsh as black. Royal blues are also a great black substitute if you want dark nails. The awesome thing about dark nails is it goes with any skin tone. You just have to find the right dark colour for you.
Brights are normally reserved for Summer but they making there way over to Winter this year. Warm up your wardrobe with fun, bright colours this winter.
Those are 5 trends you can’t go wrong with this season. Hope you all keeping warm.
So one of my favourite posts to do is the monthly lust list. This month I’m doing it all on items I’ve found on online shops. I’ll add the links to the websites as well so you can go browsing yourself for even more gorgeous things. My Favourites of online shops is ridiculously long. I think this little of obsession of mine is seriously becoming a problem.
Right now my folders are all a bit of a mess, as well as my Pinterest boards. This weekend I plan on doing a bit of a clean up. But enough bubbling, here’s my top finds this month.
Love this Brussels Euro Clutch- how pretty is it? The mixture of petal pink, tangerine, charcoal and white sequins are stunning. Available from Ankasa.
How gorgeous is this bangle from Kate Spade
I really want this Mulu shawl scarf. Shawl scarfs are so in this winter, and love the colours of this one. You can get it at lemlem

Evening bag with metallic sequins and fringing from Zara
When you think leather, you think biker chick and chains, well at least that’s the image I get. This season leather is much more feminine and girly. In fact, it’s super stylish.
Even celebrities are rocking the leather look. Transform your winter wardrobe from comfy to cool with just a leather sleeve like Zoe Saldana and Olivia Palermo. Whether it’s liquid leather peeking out of a classic belted trench coat or a sleek leather sleeve attached to a plush fur vest it will super style your winter look.
The leather dress also seems to be a big Hollywood trend with celebs such as Kate Moss, Rihanna and Nicole Ritchie being spotted in them.
Leather jackets are also a big look with celebs. Jennifer Lopez shows us how a simple leather jacket can spice up any outfit.
Wearing leather can be intimidating. Like I mentioned in the beginning you don’t want to end up looking like a macho biker chick. The trick is not to go full leather. Mix the leather with softer fabrics. It will give it a more feminine feel. Leather shorts or pants and opaque shirts is a seriously hot look this fall. If you still a bit nervous to wear leather then just add a leather bag to spice up any outfit. You don’t only need to stick to black leather. Coloured leather garments are also seriously in.
So it’s almost Autumn. I’m a pro at finding reasons to shop but what better reason do you need than a change of season. I love following trends and fashion [You really should know this by now] and spend massive amounts of time browsing fashion blogs. So I like to think I kind of know whats hot and whats not. I decided to make a list of 5 items every girl needs this Autumn and find some pictures for inspiration. So here you go ladies:
THE COLLARED SHIRT
Now happy shopping!
Esther Boutique is a boutique I cam across online that’s based in Australia and ohmygoodness, they have the most amazing dresses!
It is owned by Talita Estelle who opened her first boutique back in 2004. She became known both internationally and nationally via Facebook and since then she has opened an online store.
The dresses and other items of clothing are stylish and scream “just wear me”. I promise you if I had a credit card I’d have bought almost everything available online. [Thank goodness I don’t.] Trust me ladies, you want to go have a look, even if it’s just to drool. New stock is being constantly added so become a fan on Facebook. Though from personal experience this just makes the not being able to afford the dresses that much more painful.
They also commit a percentage of their online sales to The A21 Campaign, which is a campaign against Human Trafficking. I think that’s such an awesome idea! And even more reason to want to buy their stunning dresses.
Here are some of my favourite at the moment:

I don’t really like Vanessa Hudgens. She annoys the crap out of me but there’s no denying she’s stylish. She knows how to use work the basic blacks and nudes but also how to rock colour. Here’s some red carpet looks to from her.
I started the model of the moment posts awhile back but haven’t really been keeping up with it. But it’s a new year so let’s try again.
Angela Lindvall is a 32 year old model from America. This blonde haired, blue eyed beauty was scouted at a local fashion show when she was 14 and signed with IMG. Since then she has appeared on the covers of Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue among others.
